We will go further with the topic, which we touched upon earlier. Now we are going to talk about our human spirit.

 

Zechariah 12:1:

"The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him."

 

God made a spirit in us, so that we might have fellowship with God, that we might experience God, and that God might reach us. God is a God of the spirits.

 

Genesis 2:7:

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

 

But, when a person has sinned spiritually, has succumbed to a lying spirit and doubted in God's truthfulness, then he has sinned also physically. First he did it spiritually, because first there was this thought in Eve that it is a desirable fruit, so spiritually she began to perceive that it was something very important to have it, to possess it, and then flesh follow after that. So when a man had sinned by disobeying God and obeying the devil, and was still in sin, and growing in it, God established a time for man to live on earth.

 

In Genesis 6:3 it is said:

“And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."

 

And in Numbers 16:22 we read:

“And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?"

 

In Numbers 27: 15-20 we read:

"And Moses spake unto the LORD, saying, Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd. And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him; And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight. And thou shalt put some of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient."

                                                                                                                                             

Why was it so important for them to address God with the words: "You are the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh"? For us it means that God can do whatever He wants with our spirit. He is the Owner. For us, it is very important. This who the man is, depends on God.

 

Later we read about Joshua in Deuteronomy 34:9:

“And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses."

 

Deuteronomy 2:30:

"But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day."

 

So God can make a man stubborn and no one can change him. You can walk around this man, say what you want, and you won't change him anyway, because God made this man fierce. This man is already stubborn, headstrong, and he will not listen to what God says. This means that God gave this man opportunities, but man did not use them. And to this man God says: "I will harden your spirit, and even if you see my good, you will not be converted." So do those priests and Pharisees who saw miracles. For example, they saw that they were unable to lock the disciples because they left the prison without opening the door. The Pharisees saw all this, and yet they stood fiercely against, to destroy all that is Christ's. It was already God who did so and the subject was closed to them. Whatever man does to these people; nothing will help them anymore, you will not overwhelm that. Man will stay that way because God has made him so. Only God can soften the spirit, only God can make that a person will hear His Word and want to obey God. Only God. Without God, man has no chance in that.

 

It is very important to me and to you, what is God's attitude towards us and what is our attitude towards Him. Do you say to God: "God, I fear You and I tremble at Your Word and I will not oppose Your will in any case, lest You stand against me. Because if You will stand against me, that will be the end, cause there is no one bigger than You." Do we fear God this way?

 

See how many people are leaving, and you can`t do nothing. They go away and that's it. They go to evil, they go to lies, to accusations, to slander, they go away. You will not do anything. But when you trace their lives, you will see that God was working on them, touching them, but they abused it, trampled on it. God says, "This is what you will always be like." You understand, you can reach someone whose spirit is unhardened, because God's Word normally works on that person. But if the spirit is destinated to be hardened, there is no way to get to that person. So it's up to God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Knowing that God decides whether I will obey Him or not puts me in the position: "God, I don't want to fight against what You say. I can experience the failure, experience that somebody is trampling on me, but I prefer this than a situation where You stand against me."

 

Proverbs 16:18:

"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."

 

What is haughtiness of spirit? A man begins to think that he is bigger than he really is, and looks at situations no longer judging them soberly, but looking from a haughty position. Nobody raised him there, God did not raise him or her to this position, and this man looks as if from a heights and feels greater. It is not a spirit pleasing God. "You will not despise a humble spirit, God." A spirit that pleads before God you will not despise, God, but a haughty spirit God is finding repulsive.

A person's spiritual condition is more important than his physical condition. A person may be physically ill, but if a person is spiritually ill, it is a tragedy. You can't talk to such a man. This man is constantly proud, arrogant, malicious, reluctant, always resentful and happy with himself. Such is the man of the haughty spirit.

 

Proverbs 18:12:

"Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility."

 

The body is like a body, and a person who feels better walks proudly like a peacock and thinks that he is something.

 

Proverbs 25:28:- I will read from the linear Hebrew-English translation:

"[Is like] a city broken down without walls man whoever [has] no rule over his own spirit."

 

A man without control in his spirit is like a city that can be invaded by the enemy, without walls. That is why we need the Spirit of God who is calm. You will not anger the Spirit of God, you will not move Him into anything, you can do what you want. He is like that and you will not change Him.

 

Proverbs 17:27: - also from this linear Hebrew-English translation:

"Spares his words He who has knowledge, is of a calm spirit [and] a man of understanding.”

 

How important it is to know if what we're saying is right or wrong. We know that a person who is agitated in spirit, is moved by the spirit incorrectly and does many bad things. He may be ashamed of it later, but he does it all in his own flush. Then often torrents of evil and words pour out, that should never appear. A calm spirit, that is a spirit which consumes it all: whether it is God or not. A man possessed of Spirit does not fight battles of the flesh because he knows that there is no composure in these battles of the flesh. Notice how many words a person carries, which are wrong and how many words, which are good. How easy it can be for the enemy to trigger those words. Calm, it means, conquered by the Lord.

 

Ecclesiastes 7:8 - also from this linear Hebrew-English translation:

"[is] better the end of a thing than its beginning, [is] better the slow in spirit than the high in spirit."

 

Simple, you start to say something, but we'll see when you finish, if you will come to the end in the same beautiful way? God begins and ends exactly the same. So for me and you it is very important what spirit is in you, what spirit is in me. It is important. You can see it by how you live, how you react, what you do. Then you will see how you need the Holy Spirit who is always composed, always holy, never quick- tempered, always calm. A man who realizes what an experience he is in, will need someone to guide him through it. There is even a song: "Take my hand, Lord, and lead me." Lead me, Lord, and fill me with Your Spirit, for in Your Spirit everything is beautiful, pure and wonderful, and it is You, Yourself, who reigns over me and can lead me in Your victory, Lord, and this is purity in You. Even if the darkness rages around, there is complete peace in You. And it's not learned, it's spiritual.

 

Hebrews 6:10-12:

"For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."

Faith, patience, waiting. You know, we need such brothers and sisters, we need people on this earth who are already free from corruption, because the devil is the spirit of corruption. He spiritually corrupts man, spiritually attacks man, spiritually leads him to wars, spiritually leads him to lie, spiritually leads him to insults, spiritually leads him to fight with something good. Because man is angry and must pour out this anger on someone. More than once we perceive that Christians, Christian women, people reading the Bible, praying, and you see that they are like an unprotected city, you see that the enemy has attacked them and everything has been changed - the mood has been changed, the attitude has been changed and all that is good is gone, man is different now, it is over, he tramples his Christianity with his bad behavior, proud and haughtiness words and all sorts of things. It is still good when he repents and remembers that it is not so, it cannot be so and he comes to God: “God, Your Spirit is the only Spirit, who can overtake my spirit and throw away all things, with which an evil spirit came to me to abuse me in front of You." Didn't Jesus say that God was looking for those who would pray to Him in spirit and truth? Then what kind of spirit must it be for God, that He can listen to man joyfully? The spirit of man must be won by God's Spirit, and then to your spirit the Spirit of God tells, that you are a child of God. The spirit of God speaks, not some human ideas, not imagination, but the truth, which fruit shows that you are a child of God.

 

Ecclesiastes 7:9: - also from this linear Hebrew - English translation:

"Not do hasten in your spirit to be angry, for anger in the bosom of fools rests."

 

See how often a man runs to anger, when he should run to peace, to be cleansed, to remove evil, to be filled with what is good, nice and useful. And a man, if he moves towards anger and begins to run there, the Word of God says that, in the one who rushes to anger, this anger will remain, because he is a fool who does not seek peace, but seeks his own satisfaction or demonstration that he is better than the others. So it's not like you can get angry and there will be nothing left behind. Volcanoes erupt from time to time because of their nature. So the idea is for God's Spirit to do what only God's Spirit can do.

 

We were all spiritually corrupt, the spirit of darkness led us into evil, into quarrels, feuds, apostasy, into bad words, into bad conversations, into evil actions. The devil taught us all this. We were spiritually corrupt, before God we were dead. We will read about it later. The Bible is so specific on these matters, that it leaves no shadow of doubt for a man.

 

Ezekiel 13:1-3:

"And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!"

They say: "Yes, I am a spiritual man", but man derives from his spiritual, spoiled humanity, the fact that God will not seek, that God will leave it, that God loves him and that God will not do anything wrong to him, because God would not want him to die. And people prophesy and say that, but that's their spirit, that's not the Spirit of God. God's Spirit says the wages of sin is death, but there is salvation. Run from evil to God, seek the Spirit of God, and not satisfaction in your spirit. Man is spiritual. Yes. Only without God he is spiritually corrupt.

 

Only God can remove the spiritual corruption, acquired by fellowship with the devil, the spirit of corruption who, through sin, has placed his character in us, thus separating us from the character of God. Only God can give us a new spirit, the Spirit of Christ. "And ye be the Spirit of Christ." Only God can change our spirituality. This is very important to us, because we must stand before God someday, and it is better that, after we have stood before Him, we would stay with Him for eternity. After all, that's the main point.

 

Luke 18:9-14:

“And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."

 

We know very well that God wants love, not sacrifice, it is not that we will do something good and God will be satisfied. God wants love, His love. He wants to give us this love, but not confused with hatred, with reluctance, with envy. He doesn't mix two completely opposite things.

 

Isaiah 57:15:

"For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones."

 

Let's see how important it is to be aware of the state in which we are, before God. The devil wants to lie to us spiritually and say, "You are good, you are fine." You understand? Don't be fooled. God's Spirit comes and tells the truth: "You need the Word of God, you need repentance, you need to let go of this evil, you need peace, you need silence, you need gentleness, you need love, you need faith, you need hope, you need to go as I lead you." And a man says, "Yes, in everything I need You. I desire it, let it be done to me according to Your Word." Let us not doubt God that He will not do what He says, but let us be sure He wants clean vessels.

 

Isaiah 66:1-2:

“Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word."

You know, it's better for us humans. We were born with a proud, self-esteem, malicious spirit, seeing just his selfish thoughts and plans. But when we begin to understand that in such a spirit we cannot enter into eternity, we cannot have fellowship with God, we realize that God has opened the possibility for us through the death of His Son, to finish this evil spiritual life and start a completely different life.

 

Isaiah 29:22-24:

“Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel. They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine."

 

We know that when a person wanders spiritually, he seeks God in the wrong way and in the wrong place. God is holy, God is love, God is peace, God is purity. God is holy, holy, holy. See, this is a battle for whether we will hear God and whether we will listen to Him, because then we will win against the liar. The end times are times of a huge deception, God Himself will spend a huge part of people on deception because they did not love the truth. Spiritually, they did not let themselves to be saved, they deceived themselves and others, instead of purifying themselves, repenting, abandoning evil because of holy God who gave His wonderful Son to give us the way to return, holy, loving way to return to Him. The righteous walk this path. It has nothing to do with playing church. It is to be with God now or not.

 

Jeremiah 31:31-34:

"Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."

 

Look, sins are like a veil that covers our eyes. When the Lord frees us by removing everything that has obscured this divine reality, we experience that God is true, that we can be with God only when His Spirit envelops us and fills us. You can't be with God on your way, so let's all be careful, each of us has to go somewhere. Each of us must be aware, if we want to save ourselves, without the Holy Spirit we will not make it. And God does not deny His Spirit to those who need Him in order to live with God and live godly on this earth, so that it will please God.

 

Isaiah 26:7-9:

“The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just. Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness."

 

My spirit is looking for You. We need a holy God, we need love, we need peace, we need joy, we need to walk in truth, we need to be holy people. And God wants to give it. It is not for money or some wonderful deeds. No. God gives it to us by accepting His conditions, submitting ourselves to what He says to us.

 

 Ezekiel 11:17-21:

“Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD. "

 

May God help us understand this. You know, who doesn't understand this, he thinks that he can allow himself to be evil without believing that the end for one who abides in evil is tragic. The one who understands, realizes that he needs God at every moment, so as not to perish, but to live. God loves every man, He wants to save man, but man can push away His Holy Spirit, push away help from heaven, insist on his own and persist in it until God says: You will be stubborn till the end and nothing will change you.

 

People die stubbornly, they do not want to admit to God that they have lived in a bad way, that they have sinned, that they have corrupted the holy blood of Jesus. They die and say they are going to God. They don't want to admit. It's not that they wouldn't want to admit, maybe they would, but God doesn't want to, God has finished the subject. Even death, even suffering, will not break such a man. Is  it good to come to this state? It is like saying to God: "Harden me if you want to, and I will save myself anyway." What you sow, you reap - that's what God's Word says. Fear God, avoid evil, seek God's solutions, want the Holy Spirit to fill you with what you need. He is able to create a new spirit in you, a pure spirit that will not carry betrayal against God, insults against God, curses against God, lies and all these other abominations. You will be free spiritually, free. This is a treasure from heaven, this is a new humanity with a new heart and a new spirit.

 

Ezekiel 18:30-32:

"Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye."

 

You know, it's simple, new people have a holy desire to be together, to build up, to support, to help, to serve each other; it is so beautiful and healthy. But if a person insists on what he is, then at some point he will feel that there is no need to do so. You can become spiritually anorexic and become so thin that later you don't eat any food that could save you.

 

Ezekiel 36:26-29:

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you."

 

You understand, while God can still reach you, you hear the voice of reason. God is a rational God. But if the Spirit of God can no longer speak to you, then there is no voice of reason anymore, but a voice of stupidity, a voice of poverty, a voice of pride, haughty, the voice of the devil, and that is a completely different voice.

 

1  Corinthians 15:45-49:

“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly."

 

What is important - even if you have failed a lot of times, you have failed, remember, God has already shown many people - and he wants to show it to you - that He is a compassionate, merciful and gracious God, and let you stand up. Even if you feel that God will no longer want to have mercy on you, it is not yet God's voice. Even if your heart accuses you, it is said that God is greater than your heart.  So it is good to humble oneself before God, it is good to admit this to God, it is good to ask God to alive, and not the devil, that man would be open to love, to purity, to glory, to healthy and pure relationships. It is better to have a slice of dry bread and a new spirit than a lot of food and an old spirit at the same time. God says: I will not let you go hungry. So you will get what you need.

 

Colossians 2: 6;11:

"As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him" (6);

“In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:”(11)

 

You could say that God took off all the spiritual corruption of our live, because we did not see it the way God sees it. He left this body made by Himself, but He placed in us a new spirit, pure, without sin, so that we would learn to walk with God. And then let us remember not to quench this pure spirit, not to quench this love of God for us, not to quench this desire to be holy, clean, blameless, let us not quench it so that it would be true. Because when someone quench it, who will light it later? People today are told the easy gospel, and they perish, one by one. This case is with God. As we said, in the Old Testament, God showed how holy He was, how He punished His people, and how they perished. He is the same and today, nothing has changed.

 

Ephesians 4:22-24:

"That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."

Praise the God. May it be that in this spirit we could walk constantly, enjoying it. It's not easy, because generally the deterioration is getting bigger and bigger. But what is this! After all, the Spirit of God wins anyway, so the Spirit of God fills me so that, I’m walking in the midst of corruption and I am pure, as the Lord Jesus walked and was perfectly clean.

 

John 3:5-8:

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit."

 

As we said earlier in the morning gathering, God's possibilities are endless, He is Almighty. Our spirit, as we know, was corrupted by the spirit of darkness, we have become like this lying spirit, like this malicious spirit. We have read from the Bible more than once that Jesus Christ came to free us from our anger, that is, from this corrupt spirit that can only get angry, and cannot bring peace and do good. Why walk in something that leads us to lose, when we can walk in the One who leads us to eternity and gives us completely different possibilities of functioning today. Man will not change by himself. Jesus spoke powerful words, and people did not change until they saw the need of Jesus. If they did not see the desire of the Spirit of God working in Jesus, they did not change, but when they saw how the Spirit was working in this Jesus Christ, they wanted that Spirit to work in them. And then Jesus said, "Whoever desires, let him come and get, streams of living water will flow from within Me, and He spoke of the Holy Spirit, Who was not yet given," but now it is already given. Remember as at the well Jesus talked with the Samaritan woman: “You will always thirst the water you drink, but if you drink from God's Spirit, you drink from this pure spring, you will not thirst anymore.” Heaven is open to you in Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of God.

 

You know, someday it will come, and it's getting closer and closer, to the end of this earth and this heaven. God will fold it all up and throw it away, He will end the matter with people who did not want to submit to His changes, and there will be all eternity with those who understand that He is holy and that we cannot be with Him on any other terms than by that He makes us holy in His Son and in His Spirit.

 

Romans 7:6:

"But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter."

 

The novelty of the spirit, isn't it beautiful? I can read these words in the Bible, but my spirit may not be ready to live like this at all, or will try just to pretend living like this. But when I experience spiritually that God's Spirit fills me with what is pure, holy, and spotless, then that Word becomes something true and precious.

 

Romans 1:9:

"For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;"

 

So how important it is to serve God in a pure spirit, in subjection to God. Glory to God! You know, it is very important to me and to you; believers have lost their awareness of what spirit they need. Man seems to be able to function like this, but the new spirit is quite different from the spirit in the people of this world. This Spirit is what draws you upwards to what is pleasing God.

 

Romans 8:10:

"And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness."

 

Romans 12:11b:

"fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;"

 

I had some kind of experience with my leg recently, and I have it now, I don't know how to prevent that, what is happening there. I tried one ointment, another which made it worse, then a third, and as I prayed, I began to experience how God began to reach me with this thought: "You have to understand any disease to know what remedy to apply to it." God understands my illness and yours, and He knows perfectly well what medicine must be applied to us to save us from this disease of a corrupt spirit. While experimenting with these ointments, I saw that none of them worked as I wanted. God doesn't experiment, what He gives us, works. And those people who take God's medicine will function in the midst of this whole corrupt world, insulted, accused, whatever will be done against them, just as the Lord Jesus Christ walked, so they will walk in Him. They will not fight with flesh and blood because their Jesus did not fight like that either, but according to the Father's will, in a perfectly pure way, He fought for me and for you. God used the cross, the death of His Son, that we would all die there, to give us new life in the resurrection. The Spirit justified in the resurrection, a new spirit that can pray to God, talk to God, have fellowship with Him spiritually, walk in pure belonging to Him. And it's the same for the Word. The truth must be understood in order to receive it and to let it do in us, what it was sent with. Incompetent, the unwise use of God's Word written in the Bible leaves people in a spiritual disease, even though they read the Bible. God's spirit has to lead us into the preciousness of it. And may God have us like this, thirsty for God, thirsty that the Spirit of God would fill us with the glory of our Creator, that in the name of Jesus, we would talk to God. You know how nice it is when you talk to God, you just talk to Him and He talks to you. It is pleasant and you experience how He introduces you to the truth, explains you, guides you, direct you, leads you to purify yourself in the blood of Christ in every matter. And He always says, "Beware of it, you are in a bad environment, a very sick environment, be healthy, always walk as God's Spirit guides you."

 

John 8:31-36:

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

 

To walk in the Spirit of Christ means to be free. You hear the truth and see how the truth functions in you, that you live this truth; it means to know and to taste the truth.

 

Galatians 5:1;13:

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." (1)

“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another." (13)

 

2  Thessalonians 2:13:

"But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:"

 

I repeat the words of Jesus once more: "The flesh helps nothing, the Spirit gives life." Let us pray for this, let us pray focused on salvation, on saving, let us not concentrate on destruction, on corruption, let us concentrate on saving, and this rescue is in one Christ, in one Spirit, that we may be truly those who love in chastity of Christ, because the enemy tries to put corruption in the Church. If you see that they are splashing something smelly somewhere, then you probably don't go in there, you just remove yourself, because you don't want to be splashed with it. So let us protect ourselves in the Lord from these things, let us stand before Him as spiritually healthy, filled with one Spirit, and there is love and everything that pleases God. In this His Spirit, He sent Himself to us.

 

And as we read in 1 Corinthians, "No one knows God but the Spirit who searches the depths of God and Who can guide us into who our God is." Let us submit to Him. I would like that all of us would be blooming over the flowing water, so that each of us may bear many fruit in bunches of grapes. God has many good things for me and for you, many good things. In Christ we have been destined for goodness, let us win in this battle, for each of us must stand before God. Remember, God wants us to be ready, spiritually ready for this meeting, to take us for eternity, that we may be grateful, happy in this eternity, because spiritually we will already be prepared for this eternity. Praise God for giving us the Son, He also gave us His Spirit that we might be saved and that He might save us. Amen.
