06 M.Ł. - ONE SAVIOR

ONE SAVIOR

25.02.2018

I would like that, by the grace of our God and our Lord Jesus Christ, today we could mainly talk about the Savior, without expanding this topic with many aspects. The Savior means, that there is someone Who can save us from our bondage to sins, and He will do it. When we know, that there is the One who can save us, how important is, that He would do that. Who among us would like to stay at the bottom of the curse, knowing that there is a Savior, that there is someone Who can save us and can pull us out of this pit? We would cry out to Him, "Save us! We don't want to sit in this pit, we don't want to walk in our own flesh, we want to be saved! You can do it! " You understand? God's truth, makes us cry out. When we read the Bible, it is not just such a message, but it is intended to create in us the need for changes, according to what is written. Prayer is well built, when it is built on healthy needs. We know the world is evil and God is holy. We were part of this world, we lived in sins, in envy, in anger. We didn't like it when someone robbed us, but when we robbed someone, it wasn't too bad. We didn't like it when someone lied to us, but when we lied to someone, it was good. So evil was fine for us, when we could use it, but not so much, when someone else was using the same evil against us, we got angry: how can that be? But there is someone who can do God's good - the Savior.

Psalm 18:46:

"The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted."

Praise the God! I would like us to start to realize more clearly that lethargy or lukewarm Christianity is the result of forgetting that there is a Savior, that there is He Who can save us in every second, that we would be vital, truly alive, open, grateful, had open minds, open hearts, open heaven, open fellowship with God, that we would be saved, always aware and ready to walk with God. You know, many Christians have experienced this in the initial state, and then they wilted in benefiting from the Savior, they save themselves today. But we know very well, what is the result of this salvation. It is a haughty, proud, lofty spirit, believing that it will manage itself in life. None of us can cope with the devil, can cope with this bodily state in which the body separates us from God, and thus, in total, covers God. And if man is not separated from this, in the spiritual dimensions, then man will live as if this Almighty God did not exist and he has to help himself. Such a person thinks that if he does not help himself, who will help him? And in this way man begins to activate this idol of his own foresight and worship him, and respect him, cherish him. But there is God the Savior, Who can activate people in different places and situations according to His salvation.

Psalm 24:5:

"He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation."

A person who relies on his God, who sees in God all hope of salvation, will not be disappointed. Do you think so, brother, sister, that there is a Savior? Don't look for contentment in the world here, don't look for money, don't look for a nice life. Take everything that will allow you to be as peacefully as possible with God. That is why Jesus said: Cease on little so that you have time to be with God, enjoy Him, and benefit from Him. This is the best way of thinking of a saved man, because the earth is only a temporary stage, and it is not our goal.

Psalm 89:26:

"Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation."

 Isaiah 63:7-10:

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses. For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour. In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them."

You see, when we don't want to accept salvation, when we don't want to cost salvation, when we care more about being earthly, when our thinking is earthly, then we push away the Holy Spirit who guides us in the heavenly atmosphere of God's presence, in walking with God. When a man loses heaven, then he becomes such an empty Christian. There is no treasure of the glory of the presence of the eternal God. And there is no God to guide this man; man walks alone. What a danger to walk alone here on this dangerous land, where so many dangers await you, so many earthly ideas. Can you walk alone on this earth? Can you walk alone on this earth? You see what happens to Christians who walk alone. They always get lost, they lose even what they already have, they lose even this holy joy, this grateful heart, they lose the atmosphere of God's presence, they become such a people as if God did not exist. But this is the result of the fact that a person is left to himself, thinking and living like a child, thinking of himself that he can handle everything by himself. An adult knows that a child will not do well, God also knows that we will not do well without Him. He says: without me you cannot do anything. Beloved, let us be people who are always aware of this: we cannot do it without God. Even in the world, people say, "Without God, nor to the threshold." There is nothing without God, there is nothing! We have to learn this; there is no relationship between us without God, without salvation, without Him who will compensate, for what we have been able to spoil. When He removes it and gives us other relationships, let us use it with great gratitude, when we can love each other, when we can be close to each other, when we long for one another, God is working in us in a beautiful way. Let us thank Him for it. This is grace. See how fleshly people act, how they are together for a while and then run away because they can't hold together anymore. But when God draws us closer, thanks to Him in us, we can be together in heaven forever, because it is inscribed in our hearts.

Hosea 13:4:

"Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me."

There is no Savior except God.

Luke 1:46-47:

"And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour."

Praise God! Enjoy it, confess it, it was God who said: I am your Savior. If you call out to Me, I will hear you. If you know that there is no Savior besides God and you are not looking for a Savior anywhere else, then you come to God.

Luke 1:68-75:

"Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life."

We learn that a Savior has been raised, but He is not the second Savior. It is a Savior from this One Savior; The Father sends us a Savior, the Father sends us His salvation, and this salvation is in His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. He is the Savior Who comes in His Son, and saves us. And the Son is wholly according to what is the Father, what is pleasing the Father, and the Father can do His work in the Son as well as through the Son for you and me. But the Son is also called the Savior. So the Father is the Savior, and the Son who comes is called the Savior. The title Savior comes to the Son in all dignity and glory. And at this point, we can understand that whoever calls on the name of Jesus Christ, the Lord, the Savior, will be saved, he will live forever, because the Father chose to exalt the name of the Son, so that everyone who hopes in Him will not perish, but will have eternal life.

Luke 2:10-11:

"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Again, I say it's not like you now have two Saviors, and the dilemma of who to choose? There, the Father in heaven, and here on earth was His Son, He physically walked, saved, rescued. You see, some people do the wrong thing: they make an election, they choose the Son, and they pull away the Father, who sent Him. The Son will never agree to this.

John 4:42:

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world."

Acts 5:29-32:

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him."

It is beautiful, clean, healthy. God has sent us a Savior. This Savior is Jesus Christ. And we praise God for sending Him to us, because He has accomplished perfectly the task of saving us. He knew our disease and bore our disease on the cross, that we might die for sins and live for righteousness. The Savior knew what we needed: not so much physical healings, which were only to move these people. We needed the cure of the spirit, to be free from being tied up by the lusts of this world, to be free, to desire this what is eternal, which is endless, and live in it.

Acts 13:22-23,47:

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:" (22-23)

"For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth."(47)

Acts 4:10-12:

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. "

Ephesians 5:23:

"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body."

Philippians 3:20-21:

"For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself."

As we read over and over about Jesus Christ the Savior, we know that His teaching was, that the Father the Savior, sent Him to complete all the work that is needed to save us. When you call on Jesus as Savior, He does not become a separate Savior, He is always exactly on the line of mission from the Father.

1 Timothy 1:1-2,15:

"Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord." (1-2)

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."(15)

1 Timothy 2:1-6:

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."

We know that our Savior, Jesus Christ, was intended as a sacrifice before the foundation of this world. We know God the Savior had everything prepared, for you and me.

1  Timothy 4:9-10:

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe."

2  Timothy 1:8-10:

"Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel."

Thank God for that, when we practically understand this salvation and understand these words: "salvation", "Savior".

Titus 1:1-4:

"Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour."

Here we see the Father mentioned as Savior and the Son as Savior. There is one salvation, one Savior. In other words, as it would be said: Son, you inherit everything and therefore also that you are the Savior. The Father says: I am the Savior and you, Son, are also the Savior, but according to this one line - from the First, from the Father. A Savior no different from the Father. And so all the titles: "King of kings", "Lord of lords" are carried by the Father, but later, when the Son gets everything from the Father, He also gets them. It is powerful, it is wonderful. The Father gives everything to His Son.

Titus 2:9-14:

Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."

We remember how the Lord Jesus in the form of the Lamb is in heaven and how everyone falls before Him, because He redeemed us for God with His blood, so that we would be a holy priesthood, a royal family. Savior. Can you be a savior? Can I be a savior?

2 Peter 1:1-2:

"Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord."

2 Peter 2:20:

"For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning."

2 Peter 3:18:

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."

1 John 4:14:

"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world."

Jude 24-25:

"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen."

Jesus, as our Savior, will never save us in other way, than the Father does. Never. This is perfect receiving of the salvation from the Father, to save us.

Revelation 7:10:

"And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb."

The same salvation. The perfect Father is perfectly manifested, in the perfect Son. When you say "Savior" to the Son, you are aware that the Son came from the Father. It is not someone separate, you do not separate the Son and the Father, you do not create another truth, it is only the one that is written in the Bible. Father the Savior sends the Son to be a Savior for me and for you. Therefore, whoever calls on the name of Jesus Christ will be saved, because the Father is behind it completely. When you glorify the Son, you glorify the Father. It was just a matter of understanding it, to understand that the Father so exalted the Son and the Son is so devoted to the Father. And it's good when it comes down to you and me. How we need it.

That what I want to read now is very necessary for us. Jesus prayed for it: Father, that they may be one, as we are one. This prayer is a powerful revelation of God's truth. Now for you and me, as we said before, another exaltation, another glory. Jesus went to the Father.

Romans 11:14:

"If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them."

Did Paul think of himself as the next savior? Or maybe was Paul in the great line of salvation, that comes from the Father in the Son and fills the Apostle, and the Apostle speaks of himself, because he is one with the Son and the Father, to save some by any means? Save. It is not that we are seperate. We enter into this holy fellowship with the Savior Father and the Savior Son, in order to save some by any means. And here is the Holy Spirit who guides, fills with what is needed for the salvation be exactly as it is with the Father, that the Father would receive it.

1 Timothy 4:16:

"Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee."

Continue in unity. Remember, brother, sister, take heed of your fellowship with God. Don't think it's chaotic, it has to be all the time. The Savior must have fellowship with the Father, God the Savior all the time. Otherwise there is no Savior. Jesus, as the Savior Son, had perfect fellowship with the Father at all times. And now yours and my fellowship is so important because only then we can save someone, when we know the truth, when we live in truth, when we have a relationship with God, then God confirms His Word. Jesus says: Speak My Words and I will confirm them. These are the Savior's Words. So, when we speak the words of the Savior, He speaks them in us to save some, one way or another, to lead them to true repentance, to a true realization of the need of God, that they then receive baptism, which also saves, which frees man from this bonds with the ruler of darkness, because baptism is immersion into the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. To have salutary words, to feel that we are not chaotic Christians who are supposed to be pleasing someone, to grovel in front of someone, to try to be kind to someone, to bribe him, or to gain some nice thing. Either God will gain that man Himself as Savior, or we will gain a man who will only be a problem to us, nothing more. If salvation does not come in a straight line from the Father, through the Son, and through you, but you enter into salvation with your own possibility, with your own thinking about salvation, then you are actually deceiving people. You are offering them another salvation that will not save them. Do we understand this? The Father - the One Decision Maker, the Son - perfectly obedient to the Father, we - obey the Son, salvation can come. Praised be God for the Holy Spirit, Who works and knows how people should be saved. Therefore, when He works in us, the Savior works in us, and we are free. Amen.
